Abstract EN

Many factors impacted the historical narratives of the pioneers and the subsequent generations of the early Islam.

In fact, besides to the political factors, the sense of belonging, with all its aspects, affected not only the style but also the content of Islamic early historical literature.

This sense of belonging wasn't restricted to the religion itself mainly.

It had wider aspects that included the race; the Arab race.

This aspect held deep political significances in establishing the Islamic nation.

Added to that, some other aspects of this sense of belonging emerged in the historical literature; mainly related to the region and country.

These influences were especially apparant in the intellectual compositions of the Iraqi territories.

These works paved the way for a scientific and intellectual movement in the first centuries of Islam because the historians of that era, who were the pioneers Muslims of the historical literature were driven by, as previously mentioned, a mixture of factors affecting their sense of belonging including the religion, the race and the country.
