The aim of this research is to study the emergence of trade union thought in Algeria, by linking it to all the historical stations that have finally led to the production of the unions in their current form through the relations they have linked to the political process, especially after independence.

The union in Algeria has always been a pillar of political and economic projects, it played a role in the liberation war as it did also in the socialist project after independence, and after the end of the 80s it was found between the choice to be subordinated to the state's political apparatus or exclusion and marginalization if they want to work away from the state and his control.
