The research aims at highlighting the change tourism has undergone throughout the world due to the wide use of technological means.

This has led to new concepts and designs in tourism.

This perception seeks fighting against the negative outcomes of tourism in its old fashioned way.

Besides it has shifted towards a sensible and clever way of providing high quality services which contributes to the progress of the countries sustainable development.

Therefore, the real challenge lies in how to build solid foundation for smart tourism and also meet the requirements of the durable development.

Relying on the descriptive-analytic approach, we concluded that the ingenious tourism could be the alternative policy which reconciles the modernity needs with a new consumerism based on the objective of sustainable development.
