The number of institutions teaching translation in the Arab World is enormous, and the need for producing translations ft and into Arabic is ever-increasing.

Still, programmes offering qualification and training future translators rarely manage; quality of their trainees.

The result is that thousands of student graduate, but they cannot carry out the required tasks (Al-J[j 19 99).

The areas and factors involved in translation quality management (TQM) include facilities and equipment, teachers' profile classroom environment, and translation product and delivery The present paper proposes some measurements to be used in TQM.

It shows that translation studies can address these issue making use in advances in Linguistics, Computer Technology, and local knowledge of Arabic culture.
