Our contribution partially takes up the details of our thesis.
It relates to the analysis of the intercultural dimension appearing in the FLE manual.
Indeed, the acquisition of intercultural competence is a process which is still under construction.
It aims to build bridges between the two cultures; that of the learner and foreign culture.
As part of teaching FLE; given the place recognized in the language manual as a meeting place for cultures; as well as the affirmation of the official discourse on openness to other cultures; It therefore appears relevant to carry out a descriptive analysis of the content of the manual in order to know whether it contributes or not to the promotion of the intercultural dimension in the Algerian learner.
The analytical work carried out is based on the components of the intercultural competence process determined by the Common European Framework of Reference for languages.
The results obtained revealed to us the failure of teaching materials for intercultural education.

Notre contribution reprend partiellement certains détails de notre thèse.
Elle porte sur l'analyse de la dimension interculturelle figurant dans le manuel du FLE.
En effet, l'acquisition d'une compétence interculturelle est un processus toujours en construction.
Elle vise la construction de passerelles entre les deux cultures; celle de l'apprenant et la culture étrangère.
Dans le cadre de l'enseignement du FLE; étant donné, la place reconnue au manuel de langue en tant qu'un lieu de rencontre des cultures; ainsi que l'affirmation du discours officiel sur l'ouverture à d'autres cultures; il s'avère donc pertinent de procéder à une analyse descriptive de contenu du manuel afin de savoir s'il contribue ou non à la promotion de la dimension interculturelle chez l'apprenant algérien.
Le travail d'analyse effectué s'appuie sur les composantes du processus de la compétence interculturelle déterminées par le Cadre Européen Commun de Référence pour l'enseignement de langues.
Les résultats obtenus nous ont révélé la défaillance de ce materiel didactique à l'enseignement interculturel.
