The aim of this research paper is to clarify and analyze the concept of structured finance and its most important basic characteristics and products, using a descriptive analytical approach with a focus on studying the US market which has rapidly developed in recent years; specially during the period from 2015 to the beginning of the year 2020 based on various statistics from official sources.

The United States' structured finance market has known major transformations, especially with the large role played by federal agencies like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, in addition to the existence of an appropriate regulatory and legal framework.

The study concluded that there are many advantages and different fields of structured finance and the most important result is the great position of structured finance in the US market Led by special purpose vehicles.
