The study aims to show the importance of public space according to a socio-anthropological approach, as a theater for daily social interactions, a meeting place for different cultures and multiple ideas, a driver of urban organization and a contributor to the social and economic changes facing Algerian cities, as city management and change of individual vision of it, especially in ways of living, working and using spaces The study also attempts to discuss the idea of imbalances between urban planning laws, public policies and the practices of individuals in encroaching on these public spaces in order to avoid undesirable effects on the environmental, economic and social levels in the future through modernization and rationalization of urban planning, as well as taking advantage of Maximum public space as a driver of development within cities.
