This study aims at clarifying the presence of the local tradition in (Casanova’s Women) and how different traditional oral types (such as proverbs, songs legends, tales, etc.) emerge remarkably in the novel as a sign of the cultural composition and the creative experimentation of the writer.

Therefore, the writer manipulates those traditional forms in a way that the narrative text is modern and authentic at the same time.

The writer achieves this through merging tradition and narrative experimentation techniques which makes tradition responsive to quotes narrative modernism and its aesthetic tools of different forms and levels
