Postmodernism is one of the most controversial issues in the world of literary criticism, and this is probably due to the nature of postmodernism, which implies complexity, incoherence, disintegration and fragmentation, as well as pervasiveness in many disciplines of the humanities and literary.

This theory suggests confusion, lack of unity and harmony, irrationality, imagination and relativism of reality.

Hence, many contemporary theorists have addressed the concept of postmodernism through various theories.

In this regard, this article, based on a descriptive-analytical approach, examines the features of postmodernism in the novel " Forsan va kahana" by the Saudi author "Munther Al Qabbani".

Among the characteristics of the novel is the spatial-temporal anxiety as well as the discrete and incoherent plot of the novel addition to the fact that the text of the novel interferes with other scientific, religious and historical texts that indicates the incoherence of the text.

Finally, we must say that although this novel is not just a postmodern novel, but the features of postmodernism of the novel outweigh the features of modernism.
