Freedom of opinion and expression, in light of the technological development of various media, has led to compromising the rights of individuals in their private lives.

Many are individuals who found that their secrets and the most accurate matters related to their reputation, honor and dignity were suddenly published in a newspaper or in any other media.

Man cannot live without feeling security, safety, calm, tranquility and freedom within society.

Therefore, international and regional conventions have recognized the sanctity of private life as one of the controls of freedom of opinion and expression, so that the criminal law confers upon him protection with its punitive texts.
