Abstract EN

The study aimed to assess the knowledge of kindergarten teachers about Working Memory Problems of children who are at-risk of having learning difficulties.

The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach, and the sample of this study consisted of 109 teachers.

For data collection there was a two-part questionnaire made and developed; the first part contained preliminary data while the second part contained 24 elements distributed around 3 domains.

This study found several results: kindergarten teachers have good knowledge about working memory problems related to information retrieval in children at-risk of having learning difficulties.

They also had medium knowledge about Working Memory Problems related to information processing and retrieval.

The results showed statistical differences in the level of evaluation of teachers in receiving information that are attributable to the variable specialization for kindergarten teachers.There are also statistically significant differences in the level of assessment of teachers in processing that are due to the variable of scientific degree and differences in favor of the teachers with graduate levels.

Also, there were significant differences in the ability to retrieve information and thedifferences were in favor of the teachers who have more than 10 years ofexperience.

Finally, the teacher suggested several strategies and instruction that could help these children.
