This research sheds light on an important issue related to the belief of Muslims and their spiritual and psychological state.

The Muslim may find in adoption of these thoughts the loss of his religion, and may be exposed to pain and heartbreak in his life.

This serious issue is going to soothsayers and clairvoyants and their likes who claim knowledge of the unseen.

Islam clarified the ruling on going to those who claim to have knowledge of the unseen, and explained their danger to the belief of the believers.

This research, then, clarifies the ruling of Islam on going to soothsayers and clairvoyants and their likes, and its impact; through five sections; The first section: the definition of the soothsayer and the clairvoyants and their likes.

The second section: It is only Allah who knows of the unseen for Himself.

The third Section: the ruling on going to soothsayers and the clairvoyants and their likes.

The fourth section: Cases that take the ruling of going to soothsayers and the clairvoyants.

The fifth section: the impact of going to soothsayers and the clairvoyants and their likes on the belief of the believer.

The results of the research highlighted with conclusive evidence that going to soothsayers and their likes or communication with them by any means is forbidden by Sharia, and whoever went to them only to ask them; or asked and believed them, Allah has threatened him with a severe threat, and that Allah Almighty had retained the knowledge of the unseen for Himself.

Whoever claims that he knows the unseen is a liar, and that Islam only forbids going to these people in order to preserve the belief of the believer and protect him from falling into the whispers and traps of Satan.
