Abstract EN

In the context of economic globalization and the acceleration of global growth and development in the field of transport and logistics, it has become necessary to pay more attention to the multimodal transport system.

Which is considered one of the newest and most efficient transport systems, as the main objective of its application is to decrease the period of transport and other characteristics by which the goods are delivered to the final consumer at the best price, on time and with the least loss.

through this study we will deal with the application of the multimodal transport , its problems and its prospects in Algeria.

We will review the national strategy to activate modern and smart mode of transportation systems in Algeria for the horizons 2024-2025 (including the multimodal transport system).
