Abstract EN

This research paper deals with talking about the efforts of the Supreme Council of the Arabic Language in Algeria in the subject of linguistic coexistence, linguistic citizenship, and its role in promoting ways of peaceful coexistence between national languages in Algeria, in celebration of the International Day of Living Together in Peace, through extrapolating the work of the National Forum held On November 27 and 28, 2018, at the Palace of Culture Moufdi Zakaria in Algiers, marked with (Linguistic coexistence in Algeria between Arabic and Amazigh in light of the new constitutional amendment, which in its entirety revolved around the idea that there is no national advancement without identity, nor progress without openness, nor Harmony without self-awareness, and that the Arabic and Tamazight languages are in one trench, and they need a linguistic awareness that re-weaves the integrative relations in the light of Islamic culture, as stated by Professor Saleh Belaid, Chairman of the Council.
