Abstract EN

The interest of the Supreme Council of the Arabic Language in the lexicon of common words in Algeria came first as part of its tasks in preserving the origins of the Arabic language in Algeria, and in order to fill the great void that readers, scholars, novelists, playwrights, and translators of Algerian books suffer from.

To use these words for readers and learners of the country, as well as for every foreign student who wants to look at our culture, and get to know the nature of our society.

In this intervention, I will review the objectives behind this achievement and the goals that have been outlined.

I will also study and analyze the method used to implement this project, starting with the formation of its committees, then the approach used in the research, and the method of work.
