This study aims to analyze the reality of banking strategic planning at Al Salam Bank Algeria, by analyzing and evaluating the level of planning efficiency within the bank, as it followed the descriptive analytical approach and the case study approach based on the interview tool through the information formThe results of the study showed that the level of efficiency of strategic banking planning at Al Salam Bank Algeria came to a relatively (high)degree of 60%, as a result of the superiority of the (available) items over the (unavailable) items in the interview information form.

Accordingly, many recommendations were made, the most important of which are: the need to pay attention to designing an integrated system for strategic planning in the bank that includes all the steps followed in the strategic planning process, with the need to document it in the form of a work guide (or internal regulation) to be published in the bank after approval by the Board of Directors.
