The research studies In its introductory part the situation of Italy in World War II 1939 1945 and is divided into two parts.

The first talks about Italy's participation in the war between (1940 -1945), and the second deals with Italy's exit from the war and the conclusion of the armistice in 1943 and the role of the Allies and the Italian resistance in liberating Italy from German occupation.

It also deals with steps The Italian parties to decide the fate of the political system between (1943 -1945).

The first topic was devoted to studying the political situation of the Republic of Italy between (1946 -1948) and was divided into three sections.

1947 and the exclusion of the left parties from the government.

Regarding the third section, it studies the consolidation of the parliamentary system in the Italian Republic through the 1948 elections.
