Many factors and reasons that led to the Battle of Nicopolis paved the way in the middle of the fourteenth century AD, which made the Ottoman Empire and its military activity in the region a threat to the interests of the Balkan kingdoms, especially the Kingdom of Hungary, which, through the efforts of King Sigismund, sought to unify the French and English political visions in order to eliminate the Ottoman presence in the region, which led to the formation of the European alliance of multiple European powers, the most important of which were France, Hungary, Wallachia, the English and others, and the battle led to a crushing victory for the Ottoman Empire over the European alliance, which resulted in strengthening the influence of the Ottomans in the region.

It also helped highlight the Ottoman Empire as the sovereign in the region without any competitor.
