The current study aims to identify the level of cognitive load and its relationship to some variables among the 81 students of school psychology from the University of Chlef, and To achieve the objectives of the study, it was relied on the descriptive correlative approach, and the use of the cognitive laod scale prepared by Al-Abadi (2014), After verifying the validity of its application on the Algerian environment by calculating the validity and reliability of the scale, was used.

Students, and there were no statistically significant differences in the level of cognitive depending on the variable of gender and academic level
