The desert has always been known as an infinite spread of sand, rocks, and mirage.

It has also been considered as the home of drought and heat, satisfaction and attraction.

However, it is very rich of its cultural heritage and its simple valuable production.

The desert is olutely the largest space for freedom, cerebration and meditation, and the best home for myths and religions.

The desert, concerning its natural, social, and cultural sides, has attracted many foreign writers and artists to portray it as a new space different from what they used to write about before.

So, the value of that desert expresses their wanderings, and perhaps the experience of the Libyan novelist (Ibrahim Al-Koni) is the best evidence of that because it added new human and poetic vistas and outlooks then he made desert scenes, their religious beliefs, and Tuareg poems his own features.

So, we find in many of (al-Koni's ) novels that natural scenes and animals are not just secret creatures, but rather went behind that to a new view that explains the relationship between humans and animals and between the spirit and natural scenes.

(Ibrahim Al-Koni ) stayed faithful to his great desert, its legends and its wonders, and perhaps this is what formed his creativity.
