In this study, we deal with the term personality, one of the most prominent semiotic terms, and one of the basic pillars upon which the narrative work is based, and a sign of the active signs in exploding the connotations and symbols within texts and discourses, and no creative work can dispense with the personality.

In order to determine the importance and value of this subject, and to highlight the effective role of the personality, we titled this study on the semiotics of the personality in the novel Moving Sands by Aisha Buiba, because the novel carries semantic values, symbols and symbols, due to the multiplicity of its characters.
