This article deals with the topic of organizing and conducting the university archives, as the university is considered one of the public and educational institutions that specialize in the field of higher education and scientific research, this is what makes it practice many jobs and activities, both of which are related to administrative and pedagogical management or related to scientific research, so it is You keep a tremendous amount of archives files and documents, for which you must specify a methodology for organizing and managing them.

through this we tried to give a picture of the status of the archives of the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene as one of the prestigious Algerian universities, and we also tried to offer some solutions that contribute to controlling archives procedures in addressing Archive at the university level
