The aim of the research is to identify the reality of using action research in sustainable professional development for teachers of the first stage of basic education in Dakahlia Governorate, and to identify the most prominent proposals to activate the use of action research in sustainable professional development for teachers of the first stage of basic education in Dakahlia Governorate, and the research used the descriptive method, and the questionnaire was applied to a sample Consists of (701) teachers of the first stage of basic education in Dakahlia Governorate, and the research ended with the formulation of a set of proposals to activate the use of action research in sustainable professional development for teachers of the first stage of basic education in Dakahlia Governorate, including: Encouraging teachers to enroll in graduate studies programs, and providing Working conditions and the school climate that support this, providing the school library with Arabic and non-Arab periodicals that increase the knowledge balance of teachers, encouraging teachers, and assigning them to attend seminars, meetings, discussion panels, and conferences held by the Faculties of Education and the Center for Educational Research; To enrich their knowledge.
