This study aims to define the legal framework for the right of to retract as a mechanism to protect the electronic consumer in electronic commerce contracts, whether through Algerian legislation or through comparative legislation, this right created by necessity, by giving electronic commerce legislation a right for the electronic consumer to retract for contracting, in order to achieve balance by giving him time to think, and thus the right to retract has become one of the most important rights that accompanied e-commerce contracts.
