This paper aims to highlight the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on fintech start-ups as they rely on modern technology to provide financial services.

in the field of financial and banking technology presented a challenge because they provide smart services and the development and operation of business models, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology.

This paper was based on a descriptive and analytical approach to finding out the extent of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on global fintech start-ups in both America and Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

The results obtained showed a decrease in investments, which reached 25.

6 billion dollars, the number of investment deals to 1, 221 compared to previous years.

The impact was clear in terms of financing and investment, an increase in the use of fintech in light of the crisis, and the imposed social distancing measures, which made it easier for customers to deal remotely.
