In this case, this type of aesthetics acquires numerous literary functions in the work of art.

The aesthetic of ugliness was reflected on a wide scale in the poetry of Diʿbil bin ʿAlī al-Khuzāʿī.

Throughout his poetry, Di'bil expressed his love for beauty and disdain for ugliness.

This ugliness evoked the poet's artistic feelings and expression to the extent that this aesthetic of ugliness became a major theme in his poetry.

The aesthetic of ugliness found in the poetry of Di'bil is a clear manifestation of his artistic talent, and ugliness-rejection attitude.
