-Sheikh Abou al Yakdhan, is one of the contributors to the national and Arab reform movement.

his press has a prominent position in the history of the Arab press in Algeria.

it covered many topics related to the development of Algerian national issues, during a very important and difficult period that Algeria went through.

this study aims at identifying the content of the press and its most important issues.

it concluded that its content varied to include thought, politics, meeting, culture and education.

through his newspapers, Abou al Yakdhan emerged as one of the poles of reform calling for a return to the fundamentals of Islam and its true sources through Dawah, moral guidance and addressing social issues focusing on Islamic Arab education outside the circles of the French authorities.

he was interested in the crucial national issues that faced the pioneers of the Algerian national movement, along with other personalities such as ibn Badis.

his interest in Arab issues was also reflected in the record of his position in support of palestine in all its phases.

he was an advocate of the unity of Arab countries and of their non-prejudice no matter how much the differences were ignited.
