Abstract EN

The study aims to address the concept of endowment funds, the extent of their contribution to development processes in its various dimensions, as well as their role as a source of financing for various projects, considering the endowment as an important economic resource that seeks to activate the available capital and operate the economic cycle.

The study found the importance of endowment funds in financing projects of a developmental nature in Islamic and non-Islamic societies, by adopting various Islamic formulas in investment and financing, which are based on the principle of participation in risk and return.
