This research paper aims to study the European Union's experience in assuring the rights of persons with disabilities on an equal basis with others, protecting them from any form of discrimination, promoting the full enjoy of their human rights and also assuring accessibility in all areas, especially to digital environment.

The study concludes that the disability strategy 2021-2030 contains many ambitious measures such as the establishment of a disability platform and the European resource centre accessible in 2022, and also the creation of the European disability card by end of 2023 which will be recognized in all member states.
