The purpose of this study is to discuss the phenomenon of meaning in Arab heritage and its changes in modernist reading as a disputed pole between three authorities - each claiming to be the right to make it and produce it - namely: The authority of the author, the authority of the text, the authority of the reader.

This conflict has put the meaning in more trouble than ever before: the difficulty of capturing it and identifying it in the face of modern monetary approaches; sometimes it has become even more obvious.
