Abstract EN

After a long time of waiting, the Algerian repertory of jobs was issued in 2014.

The purpose of the repertory was to fill the gap and realize an outstanding referential classification for jobs in Algeria, considering that the old referential classification, issued in 1998, did not respond to the local labor market's needs and the practitioners' ambitions.

However, the repertory of 2014 has suffered from several problems and shortcomings, and it failed to play its required role.

This paper aims to evaluate and criticize the Algerian repertory of jobs by comparing its content with the french repertory (The Practical Guide for Jobs) and determining the level of similarities between them.

The study found that the repertory is not totally cover the jobs specification in Algeria.

Therefore it is necessary to make a comprehensive revision to the repertory to reflect the Algerian context by respecting the following sides (Institutions, Organization, Professional, Legislation).
