Egyptian public opinion Attitudes towards media coverage of the official page of the Ministry of Health on Facebook during the first and second wave of the Covid-19 virus
The study aimed to determine the trends of Egyptian public opinion towards the media coverage of the official page of the Ministry of Health during the first and second wave of the Covid 19 virus, and a qualitative analysis of the official page.

The study reached several results, the most important of which are:
Extensive use of social media has allowed floppy participation in emergency and crisis response.

The rate of dissemination of media content on the official page is good and receives attention and interaction from the public, and the rate of exposure of the study sample to the official page has been significantly related to the Corona pandemic.

The interest in following the media coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic by the public decreased in the second wave than in the first wave.

The ence of specialized efforts to prepare media content in light of the Corona pandemic to address public opinion to reach the desired response.

Accordingly, the communication activities provided on the official page must be redesigned in order for information related to epidemics in general and COVID-19 in particular to be more effective.

Also, timely dissemination and updating of information regarding the epidemic is an effective measure to avoid public panic and prevent the spread of misinformation.

The need to formulate accurate response procedures to meet the public's demands to control the crisis, and to monitor the validity of information published by official accounts, in order to enhance public opinion's response to epidemics and control them.
