This research comes to reflect the impact of grammar and its origins on the science of jurisprudence, through the study of a fundamentalist rule that had an echo in Arabic grammar in the weighting between conflicting texts, that rule known as: committing the lesser of two harms, was the first to be referred to by Ibn Jinni in his book Characteristics, and titled Her saying: (Chapter on Pregnancy on the Best of the Ugliest) (), and what is meant by that: that if two necessities come to you - that is: two ugly things - and one of them is more ugly than the other, the speaker must commit one of the two ugly things; Then it is necessary to commit the closest and least obsceneDuring this study, I tried hard to study this fundamentalist rule in a grammatical study, showing its impact and resonance in the grammar lesson, investigating all its evidence, and the research showed the grammarians' approach to getting rid of committing two harms.
