Abstract EN

This paper deals with the crises experienced by the independence trend in the Algerian national movement in the period between 1947-1954, starting with the crisis of Lamine Dabaghine in the years 1947-1948, and he almost got out of this leadership crisis until a second crisis appeared in the direction more severe than the first.

It almost ravaged his unity, dubbed the berberic crisis of 1948-1950, to be ravaged by a third crisis as a result of the discovery of the party’s special organization in 1950, and crises over the party followed between 1953 and 1954, where the beginning of leadership was between Messali and the Central Committee soon.

The crisis moved from the leadership to the base, ending with the division of the independence trend into two conflicting currents, Messalists and Centralists in 1954.
