The researcher investigates the the lyric poems, of the Mamluk age, which had repeated the same poetic style of the well known poet Ibn Alllabana’s lyric poem which starts with No blame on me for being playful.

The researcher starts a brief information about the Andalusian lyric poems and the repetitive poetic styles at the Mamluk Age.

The researcher in his paper lists the most important lyric poets at the First Mamluk Age and the reasons behind the wide spread of repetitive lyric poetic styles at that age.

He also summarizes the purpose of his research.

Then, the researcher gives a model poem (Ibn Alllabana lyric poem that used by the Mamluk age poets as model to repeat its poetic lyric style; the lyric poems of Al Shehab Alazazi, Ahmed Al Mousli, and Al Salah Al Safadi).

The researcher highlights the most important points of comparison and contrast in terms of themes, language style, and imagery.

He investigates whether the Mamluk poets could reach the level of the original poem or not.
