Sudan has a strategic location connecting the African and Asian continents and borders a number of countries, making it very difficult to control its borders, and this has led to to enter multiple migrations and different ethnicities at different time periods throughout the ages.

The process of migration to Sudan was facilitated by the lack of natural barriers to this from the north, east or west, in addition to the hospitality of Sudanese society and its acceptance of new arrivals, which facilitated the process of fusion and mixing in Sudanese societies.

The land of Shorouk (Sudan) as they call it, along with other objectives, including economic, these migrations have affected the Sudanese composition and increased tribal diversity in Sudan, which has had a deeper impact on the economic, social and religious sides.
