Abstract EN

The study aims at discussing the social issues of sustainable development in Egypt within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), based on the indicators of verification and abating under the policies of economic reform and the consequences of the Corona pandemic, using the scientific approach in its analytical and partial comparison methods and the way of social survey in the sample.

The results of the study confirmed that Egypt has not yet fully achieved any of the SDGs until now, according to the qualitative analysis of sustainability development reports, and the situation of social issues in the field has varied (Equality, education, health, population) were moderately underdeveloped, and issues (housing, social security) were moderately advanced, with many challenges to all issues that could be overcome, as well as varying, and, in general, the level of impact of the Corona pandemic on development goals between (very negative, slightly mixed and negative) impact.

It is still unclear.) Finally, there were no statistically significant differences on all social issues of sustainable development in Egypt due to the social characteristics of the sample of the study, with the exception of the issue of equality and social equity, which showed statistically significant differences attributable to changes in gender and residence.
