Abstract EN

The recent study sheds light on the impact of the rules of Arabic language (Grammatical ones)on the interpretation of the proverbs which includes a collection of the prophetic traditions(Allah's blessing and peace be upon him), and the sayings of his companions and followers (May Allah well pleased with them)in Tafsir Al-tabari.

The interpretation was based on two views; the first was the interpreters' views, whereas the second was the view of the specialists in Arabic, then to get the semio-syntactic study of Quran.

Consequently, the researcher intended the practical aspects applied in number of Quranic verses to elucidate the influence of the Arabic rules on the interpretation of the proverbs.
