This research paper aims to study the determinants of the growth of the agricultural sector in Algeria using annual data during the period 2000-2017.

To reach the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted and the use of multiple regression method as a tool to reach the results.

The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is the Algerian agricultural sector affected by several factors that contribute to its development and development, including government financial support, agricultural financing, which is in several forms, the most important of which are loans provided by banks to farmers, the area allocated to grain cultivation, the workforce in the agricultural field in addition to the climate And other factors that the country is striving to improve in order to improve production and productivity and reach food security.

The study also found that there are several determinants of the growth of the agricultural sector in Algeria during the period 2000-2017.
