The research dealt with (The impact of the Republican People's Party on the general elections in Turkey 1973).

The political parties represent one of the pillars of the democratic system and the political process cannot be upright without it.

so, the CHP represented the front of the democratic left, which was led by Ecevit as its new leadership.

The new leadership was able to put forward an ambitious electoral program that addresses the problems suffered by Turkey, which was the result of the policies of the Justice and Development Party as well as the governments of the coup.

The People's Party was able through that program to win the elections.

This victory had an impact on President Fahri Korutürk appointment of Ecevit to form a government after the failure of the right-wing parties to do so.
