Abstract EN

Political poetry is one of the most important new poetic contents in the Umayyad era.

This is certainly due to the importance of the role of Islam and its effect in its formation.

Because the source of this poetry was the basis of those Islamic parties that spread in the aforementioned era.

From this standpoint, the researcher proceeded - as much as possible - to reveal the impact of this new content on Oriental studies, which was not considered by Arab researchers before.

This study contributed to unveiling critical and literary opinions in the minds of some orientalists and then discussing them, hence the need for such a study.
