Abstract EN

This study dealt with the role of industrialization in social change in the local community.

The study relied on the social survey method through the intentional sampling.

The sample was limited to the residents of Al-Sadaqa area in Al-Hasahisa locality in Al-Jazirah state, because the establishment of this factory led to the establishment of this area.

The study was in (2019), and the data was collected by means of a questionnaire that followed the descriptive and analytical approach, and the study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: that manufacturing affected the social structure and the emergence of the form of social relations based on profession and specialization, and that industrialization affected the form of family, kinship and division of labor Among the results, it also came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: rehabilitation of factories in the locality, expansion and introduction of new industries in the locality.
