Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the role of strategic management in human resources efficiency in Sudanese commercial banks.

The problem of study was raised by the main question: Is there any role for the strategic management in human resources efficiency in operating banks in Sudan? The analytical descriptive method was used and a questionnaire comprised of (180) individuals was analyzed by the statistical analysis program (SPSS) and different statistical methods.

The study findings showed strong correlations between the strategic management and human resources efficiency as well as a positive statistical significance relationship between the mission and human resources efficiency.

The study found a number of conclusions such as: the under studied banks carried out an internal and external environment analysis continuously and scientifically.

The banks also implemented the strategy as set out in stages of detailed plans and all the concerned parties including the higher administrations and staff participated.

The study recommended that the operating banks in Sudan should set out clearly their missions so as to enhance the human resources efficiency and the strategy should highlight interest in human resources efficiency.

The need for clear standards is necessary for evaluation of strategy.

The future studies suggestions include standards for human resources measurement.
