Abstract EN

This study dealt with an important issue of religion, which is the connotations of guidance in Islam.

In writing this paper, the researchers followed the descriptive analytical approach, and the study concluded the most important results: ; Man has a choice between guidance and misguidance The first path of guidance to the straight path of God is the Noble Qur’an.

- Tazkiyah, as one of the reasons for guidance, is divided into two parts, renunciation of vices and adorning with virtues.

God’s guidance to the servant varies according to his devotion to his Lord Almighty, he may guide him without a reason.

Recommendations; Reciting the Noble Qur’an a lot, contemplating its meanings and reflecting on its verses, so that a person may attain guidance.

Struggling oneself with truth to be straight on the path of God.

Taking reasons that indicate guidance.
