The study aimed to identify the difficulties facing the principals of Arab secondary schools for girls in Abeche, through the opinions of male and female teachers.
The researcher followed the descriptive approach, and relied on the questionnaire as a tool for the study, and the study sample consisted of fifty (50) male and female teachers.
The study showed the following results: Most of the teachers in the Arab secondary schools for girls in Abeche are males, and they are graduates of non-educational colleges.
Shortage of teachers in schools.
The lack of social workers.
There are no physical education teachers.
School sports yards are not suitable for girls.
The lack of educational means in schools, and the existing ones are old.
Lack of lighting in schools.
The lack of teachers' use of teaching aids in scientific subjects.
Fewer girls’ parents visit schools.
Parents' lack of interest in knowing their daughters' progress.
Recommendations: Based on the findings of the researcher, recommend the following: Increasing the number of teachers in schools, with a focus on selecting teachers who are graduates of faculties of education.
Providing schools with social workers and physical education teachers.
Supporting schools with modern educational means, and training teachers to use them.
Tell the parents about the importance of visiting their daughters in schools.
