Pragmatic studies are concerned with more than one aspect of narrative discourse, and these aspects can be traced back to a number of tracks.

each of them includes a number of studies, and signals are among the most important of these paths as they have become a basic standard in the pragmatic analysis of the narrative discourse.

this study aims to invest the indicative mechanisms in the approach of the novel of “al-Ishq al-Muqadnis” by Ezzedine Jalawji and to show its importance in the formation of the structure of the narrative discourse.
