Illicit enrichment is a concern for every country seeking economic and sustainable development.

therefore, most countries of the world have agreed to criminalize this act to eliminate the source of corruption, as the crime of illicit enrichment is the final result of all corruption crimes.

consequently, its impact on the economy, whether national or international, is very negative, and we have touched on this intervention to the concept of this crime and its relationship to corruption and the extent of its impact on economic development, we concluded this research with the results reached and recommendations directed to the Algerian legislator to strengthen the system for deterring illicit enrichment and thus eliminate corruption and protect the economy from it to ensure sustainable development.
