The aim of this study is to identify the psychological problems that explain school dropout among middle school students, and the study used the descriptive and analytical approach; because it is best suited to the nature of the studied variables, the sample consisted of 70 students who suffered from the phenomenon of school dropout; The results of the study indicated that the problems of fear of school and symptoms of aggression constitute, to a large extent, determinants of student dropout, high indicators of school dropout, and a decline in their achievement grades.
