Abstract EN

The region of Biskra is an important crossing point between the Tell and the desert.

It was also characterized by its humid climate during prehistoric times, which prompted human to seek refuge and settlement in it, and left his imprints clearly visible.

This is what we observe through its remains dating back to various prehistoric eras, and the same was during the dawn of history and ancient historical times.

In this study, we try to identify the most important funerary monuments represented in the Bazinas and Temilos megalithic tombs, the most widespread in the region.

Especially in Oued Tamda and Oued al-Hamara within the basin of Oued Ettel, with an examination of the characteristics of its architecture to determine its identity, among the reached results, the vastness of the two tombs and the diversity of archaeological remains inside them, which allows us to say that the region has known a continuous succession of different civilizations.
