Through this research we will deal with shedding light on the civil architecture of the city of Tipasa, using the "house of frescoes " as a model for the study, where we will try first to provide an overview of the components of Roman houses in general, then we will deal with the house under study through its planning and distribution of its spaces, and the urban environment, as well as the interconnection of the internal space of the house with the outer space.

The importance of this study lies in knowing the extent of application of all recognized principles in planning Roman homes, and their response to influencing factors, some of the economic considerations related to the extent to which housing development coincides with the stages of the city's prosperity.
